Hello--

I am back again, and again I am needy!

First thing is Hebrews 7:12;

this sounds like a case for:

No law/do anything you want program of Christianity.

One of my translations says:

'For the priesthood being changed,

of necessity there is also a change of the law'.

How do we really translate that please?

And also, I need more information on Melchizedek;

unable to glean much information from 'stuff' I have.

All the commentaries I have indicate the law was not working,

otherwise why was Messiah sent?

I hear things like:

"We are now under Grace not the Law,

therefore we do not have to obey"!!!

I was listening to . . . [ name deleted ] . . . on Friday

and a caller presented questions as to

why he/we didn't practice Sabbath.

The caller gave scripture, etc., about why it should be kept

. . . .

Bottom line is . . . [ name deleted ] . . . finally stated

there was no scripture backing for the change,

but it really didn't matter as we are not under the law

but under grace!

(I am paraphrasing: these were not either's exact words.)

I have a co-worker I have been sharing this information with

(I gave her your website)

and she feels convicted (and is researching) about the Sabbath,

but also finding it hard to understand

how all the great teachers/scholars could miss this,

and if not miss it, could lie to us so blatantly.

I am beginning to think Christianity is a new religion.

In . . . [ place's name deleted ] . . . we have over 200 different churches,

only one Temple and one Messianic assembly.

If we all believe in The Way,

why don't we embrace our heritage?

And that brings me to another point

for which I have had much fear this week:

I am now beginning to believe/understand that YaHH-HoVSHea,

when He returns for His Bride,

it will not be a Gentile Bride!

I know it says we are grafted into the olive tree,

but what if that translation is a slight 'miss' as well?

When YaHH-HoVSHea told the woman:

"it is not right to give the children's bread to the little dogs",

maybe we are still in that status

and the command "go to the gentiles"

was really meaning the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

Which means we (gentiles) are in darkness, deceived, cast down,

and forever lost to YHVH.

It seems with each step I take forward,

the shutter of the camera opens a little,

then closes before I can get a good [look] through the lens.
